Meet Gianni! I’m a mellow and adorable 6-year-old neutered male domestic long-haired cat who loves lounging in cozy spots and sharing gentle cuddles with my humans. I’m looking for a calm and loving home where I can relax and be myself. I’m FIV positive, so I must be kept indoors for life. If you’re looking for a calm and affectionate companion, I might be the perfect match for you! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Welcome Teva into your home! A delightful 2-year-old domestic short-haired cat who embodies curiosity, activity and sweetness, Teva has a lively nature and affectionate spirit.

She brings joy to those around her and exudes energy and charm. While Teva thrives in a home where she’s the sole feline, she is happy to interact with her human companions. Act now and welcome her into your life! The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on EBSPCA programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

We caught well-mannered gentleman Luke Skywalker (right) waltzing with his friend Reba McEntire! Actually they were just playing around as we tested his temperament — since Luke is new — and he was amazingly gracious, gentle, patient and just a really good boy. Someone described him as kind, and we love that for him. We hope a lucky person will waltz home with this truly great Great Pyrenees soon! To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

Inky is a 1-year-old black female bundle of smiles. This girl is so curious. This is from her foster: “She sits on my laptop keyboard when I’m trying to work, follows me out in the (escape-proof) yard to help pull weeds, drinks from the faucet and loves to hang out with her foster dad when he’s working on a car in the garage.” For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
